This is wonderful art :) I love the shading and just the overall shape.

I apologize if the following is too deviated from the art itself to be relevant but:
I'm hoping someone here might be able to point me in the right direction.
I read about Form Constants recently and the study that was performed to discover them.
But, I have seen these 'hallucinations' ever since I was a child. They look very much like your picture! All I need is a dark room or space to look at. While they have lost their color over time, I can still see the patterns in shades of grey.
I do not take drugs (caffeine is the only 'drug' I suppose. It adds color to them but nothing so intense as orange. Mostly blues, reds, yellows.) In addition, I am not sleeping when this happens. I have carried on a conversations, fully awake and just watching these ever turning scenes.
Does anyone know what this might be? Or where I might go for information?

Thanks. No need to apologize - the more it changes the more it stays the same. Maybe you will like this audio lectures :

This is wonderful. The use of orange and blue serves to highlight the intensity of both, especially with the stark white background. Sometimes you find works like this on dark backgrounds, but with this I think you'd begin the lose the blue.
I like the kind of colour reverse planes of symmetry in this too. What program did you use to render this?

Hi, glad you like it, you are right for blue and background... 99% my fractals are Fractal Explorer renders, my favorite software ;)
